Oxygen keeps me from dead. I like Wunderground ap.

App used to be great, now it freezes up too often even if You pay the yearly subscription. No updates to the app in years as well. What is the money for the subscription going towards?

I had to uninstall the app just after a couple of hours of using it. It continually froze anytime I went to open up the app. Apparently it’s a known issue that no one from the company wishes to fix. Time to continue the search for a reliable weather app.

In the overview this Sunday is missing but it’s showing up in the hourly.

My original review was from 2022. 3 years later, the problem still exists and people are still complaining to this day. Why can’t anyone just make a decision to fix the confusing wind indicator on the summary screen!? Original review from 2022: I and many others have been repeatedly reporting the issue with wind direction arrows being 180 degrees backwards on the summary. No effort has been made to correct this and the complaints go back a very LONG time. Very poor to allow this to continue for so long when this should be a simple fix and should have been fixed immediately when first reported. #FAIL

Love the app but it would be nice to have an IOS widget.

App freezes regularly since iOS 18. It’s too bad, because otherwise I find it quite useful. Has not been updated in months. Please fix the freeze! Further adding: kill and restart is a constant theme for me and other reviewers. Too bad.

Update: air quality is now completely inaccurate. Pollen is so bad there are clouds of it where I am. The app is saying air quality is “good”. I’d give it zero stars if I could. I loved the app until it got bought out and they made most of their features paid only. They changed the UI so you have to scroll across a line graph and layered it so it’s difficult to see all information at once. Now it has pop up ads! This app has gone down hill. I’ve reviewed it before to try to call attention to the issues and my review is gone.

Love the app but I’m afraid it freezes up several times each day. Using iphone 16 pro. I’ll probably uninstall🙃

I like the WU app except the latest version keeps quitting on my IPhone 16. It has done this on all the latest software versions. Specifically, when you go to the “more screen” , and then try to close that screen, the app quits. I would also like a feature comparable with the web site on the app where you can see the rain gage totals for the week, month and year to date. Thanks

Overall, I like the app and the layout, but the latest version freezes way too often. I have to close it then reopen. Not exactly convenient in the severe weather area that we reside. Additionally, it would be nicer to have more options in the layers and overview pages. They are just too cluttered. Other apps do a better job of tracking g severe thunderstorms and tornadoes.

I have used WU for years and recomend it. My only complaint is when all the warnings pop up they are written in white letters on a light grey background. Please change type to a dark color so it can be seen on the grey background or change background to a dark color.

I love the app and the details it provides however I would like to report one issue that has been happening for quite a while now. I am currently using iOS version 18.4 along with the app version 6.19 [5]. I've encountered an issue where the app crashes and closes completely whenever I use the radar feature and press the “X” to close it. This problem has been persistent for about a year, and I wanted to take the opportunity to report it so that it can be addressed. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

The last year or so this app pretty much daily freezes snd I have to shut it down and restart it. I’m finally fed up enough to go to another app.

Weather Underground was the most accurate until they were bought out then started going downhill ever since….like most companies after there bought out by money hungry degenerates. Now they can’t even predict rain a couple hours ahead. You make plans and always changes right up until you can just look out of the window to see what’s happening. Now filled with obtrusive adds and they want money to get rid of them. No thanks! I dumped them and using apple weather app instead!! Much better! Should have dumped Weather Underground long ago. Real shame what the weather channel did to it after they bought it. Good riddance!

When in dark mode the weather alert warning messages are impossible to read

Goodbye, Wunderground. This app has been in decline for years, and Apple’s native weather app is now a far superior option. Back in the glory days, you were useful. But after years of neglect, we’ve gained bugs, and lost features. We never really ever getting functional user profiles, we now have a slow, freezing mess of an app. Ads, on top of all that, are an insult. RIP.

The weather app I had been using failed to send out a notice for the Tornado Warning we just had. And YES, my area was hit hard with unusually loud winds and loud thunder … we definitely should have gotten that Tornado Warning issued by the National Weather Service. Lowering review 1 star, because the advertising I’m seeing is Chinese!

This app crashes more often than not, requiring that I click off of it then back a couple of times. When it works, it has useful features. Just wish it worked better.

I cannot, for the life of me, get this app to give me current location by default. I am traveling from AZ to PA and have to type in my current location every time I arrive.

Although I have no issues with forecast accuracy, I have a big issue with the constant crashing. Whenever I open and then close the map view or the daily/hourly detailed forecasts, the app crashes and I must reopen it. This happens on both iPad and iPhone versions and has gone on for several years. Updates to iOS and the app have not helped nor has deleting and reinstalling the apps. It’s getting rather old at this point.

I use to love this app and it’s layout. Unfortunately it’s almost unusable now, it constantly freezes up and crashes. I thought maybe it was the Ads were causing issues, so I caved and bought a subscription, but it still freezes. I’ve deleted the app, restarted, and reinstalled (on multiple occasions) but it still freezes. I’m really disappointed. Have the same issue on both my old personal iPhone and brand new work iPhone. This app is just a disappointment now.

App now crashes when closing the radar screen.

The timing is off on pretty much every thing and it’s pretty laggy a lot of the time severe weather reports are off

I use this app multiple times a day. I love how it shows the current weather for my personal weather station, gives a ten day forecast, and has a very clean UI. What I dislike is that the precipitation/humidity graph does not also show cloud cover like the web app does and how difficult it is to clear/remove the vertical time/date/detail bar from the day charts. Also, recently when I open the app, I regularly find it is frozen up and have to kill it and restart it.

I’ve been a fan for a long time. However I noticed a few months ago that the wind direction arrows are wrong in some places. I reported the bug but it is still not fixed.

Their accuracy has fallen off a cliff. On a couple of occasions recently it shows completely incorrect weather for my current location. It forecast snow flurries and a high of 37f today. It’s going to be in the 60s. Refreshing does not fix it.

Opting out of targeted advertising doesn’t work. The setting will not save. That’s as important as it is simple to get right. Deleting this immediately.

(2) As others have noted, newer versions lock up. For me, this is when it is in the background, and it's unresponsive when I bring it back to the front. When this happens, it has to be closed (swiped up and away) and re-launched (iPhone 15 Pro with latest iOS).

Like the graph presentations, along with hourly data. Both go on for several days!

It’s a great app but, and i probably just can’t find it, but it is not showing the future only the past and I can’t find a future radar setting. I probably just did something wrong though and this is a great app

I would have liked to have written a positive review of the Weather Underground App; but, I can’t. The App keeps locking up, and then shutting down. I have installed 10 other apps on my iPhone; and, this is the first one to have such problems.

The daily does not match the hourly at all

Can’t detect the difference between a scrolling motion and a click on. The thing is plain worthless.

Your map needs to be updated. It is now called the Gulf of America. Please correct this.

I have used this for several years. Lately it started freezing up when I opened the app. It took several tries and it would crash during the process. I finally gave up and deleted it. I hope it gets fixed.

This weather app has a ton of useful information and it’s organized quite well with an intuitive interface. But, 90% of the time when I go back the app it is frozen requiring me to close it out completely and restart it.

I love the detailed data, especially wind speed, and humidity. But I have a major complaint about WIND DIRECTION icons. They point in OPPOSITE directions in the upper day overview, and in the hourly view. The hourly shows the FROM direction (weather vane style) but the larger day summary shows the TO direction of actual wind movement. since both icons are pointed it is very confusing. Maybe need a user preference or toggle to select between from and actual direction and make all pointers point the same way.

I enjoy the app but have a real problem with getting to the Summary verbiage for a particular date. When you click on any date in the Daily Forecast, and then click on the Summary for that date, it always takes you to the current date and you then have to scroll through everything until you get to the date you want. The Summary information for a date is some of the most important information I want to see but the app buries it in a way to make it hard to reach.

Keeps freezing, won't open from widget. On the newest update. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still buggy. Please fix it.

Frequently freezes upon opening and has to be killed/restarted manually. It’s been this way for about a year.

The wind direction symbol used in the hourly forecast is opposite of the wind direction symbol used in the current conditions. Please be consistent.

This would be a great app if it didn’t freeze and force close all the time. It’s gotten worse with iOS 18.

It used to work great but the app is always freezing on my iPad now. I have to clear it from cache and reopen it to get it working again.

Please fix the widget for iOS 18 compatibility. Wunderground is the only weather app that provides accurate data for our area despite its other shortcomings. You could do better, IBM. Wunderground has deteriorated on your watch.
