Weather Underground: Local Map App Reviews

THIS is the best weather app I have found!! Not only do they give accurate weather data, but they allow users to confirm weather conditions. Users are also allowed to submit local photography to confirm weather conditions- I dont have to look at some pictures that have nothing to do with my location. I can see at a glance what the weather is. For someone with health conditions, this is extremely helpful! Thank you so much! =) [If i could ask the Wunderground Geeks to add anything, it would be: PLEASE add the mold spore counts- this drastically affects my breathing. And breathing is important.]

I like the 10 day forecast, this is my main source for long range curiosities (beyond 7 days). Also the notifications are amazing, they beat all other sources as far as quickness, sometimes they come before NOAA shows it on their site. It drives me insane that when I go to the notification pop up on my screen it doesnt take me to the report, it just takes me to the main wearherunderground page. And I have never been able to read any of the public information statements. The other things like warnings and special weather statements I can eventually navigate to by hitting the red I next to the temperature on the main page, then swiping randomly looking for it amongst many others. Radar is absolutely terrible compared with radarscope; no detail, few frames, its made for people that simply want to see if it will or wont rain. I do like the weather radio station link and that it works with the screen locked, nice! And I guess I use it sometimes to see temperature/wind at stations nearby. But why is the forecast discussion buried deep in the page? Overall its difficult to use and most things are bad, but a few nice features keep it on my phone until I can find a replacement.

This is a very useful app for me...I refer to it daily and love that I can customize it. It does the weather well!

I rarely open the app but I use the today widget every day. Fantastic and easy to use and lots of info.

Upgrades to the Weather Channel app destroyed it. I couldnt be more pleased with this one. First screen is clear with the information I need.

I like everything about weather underground except their response to a problem. I have written support 3 times about no longer being able to upload pictures and received zero reply.
