Weather Underground: Local Map App Reviews

I continue to be amazed with how WU presents the most important thing in our daily lives - the weather. This latest update allows inter-app functionality with their sister app Storm, which I never leave home without.

With the last update I lost he for cast filmstrip. Do I need to dump and reinstall?

The new logo is cluttered. The black background is messy. Miss the flat design

The weather app is what youd expect. What keeps me coming back are the update details. Thanks for the laughs.

To make it better, how about adding some type of indicator that shows percentage of rain/snow on the day view.

The useful forecast details have not worked on iPhone 5 and 6 for at least 6 months

I travel frequently and love that with the tap of a button it loads the forecast for my current location, no need to add and chose from a dedicated list like most other weather apps, and the map gives me numerous layer options. Only gripe is that tapping the top of the screen does not auto scroll to the top of the page, but brings up a recent stations list. Almost every other app out there scrolls to top of page with a top tap, something I get used to, would be nice to see here. Also would love to see a "storm tops" report layer integrated with the radar map.

I love this weather app. It has what the regular weather apps offer and much more. It has so many features. Its amazing!!

Outstanding and clean gui. This is my go-to app for several years.

I understand wanting to spruce up the icon, changing it from a flat black, but the detail makes the icon look too busy. In fact, my first reaction was disgust when I saw it. The number of lines and layers dont work at that small of a scale. Otherwise, Ive loved the app for almost two years. The graphs are very useful for quickly and visually comparing temperatures across multiple days, and the location pinpointing gives me confidence that whats being reported on the app is what Ill experience when I step outside.

I literally depend on this at in my line of work construction. The fact that it uses information from a number of resources makes me a bit more comfortable. Thank you

Weather channel sold out. These people still have a really awesome app.

The app has a lot to offer. The Apple Watch app and its complication are one of the best available and the most complete.

Just a great app

I am new to iPhones, but not WeatherUnderground. This was my first app from the store and I am very pleased. This app is very smooth, and includes all of the info related to weather and seasonal data (temps, radar in motion, precipitation, etc) A great app that I use daily to gauge the weather.

Would be the best weather app if you added model data like Wunder Map from the website.

What is all the crap in the background!
