Weather Underground: Local Map App Reviews

Probably the best and most comprehensive and accurate weather app out there.

Until recently, this was my favorite app. Now I am not sure what weather it is displaying. I live in Red Deer, Alberta. The app says I live in Calgary, a city an hour and a half drive away. The weather tower is listed as one nearby, but how can that be when the app thinks it is in Calgary, Alberta?

I payed for the one year ad free because I enjoy the app. One downside is that their widget is faulty (text overlaps) and slow. I would like to see some improved redesign

Unable to detect location. Displaying 108°. I know its -2° outside.

Great app up until late. Has issues connecting to stations. Use to be my go to app for weather, but doesnt connect half the time.

Still not showing current conditions, and buggy in reporting, too. That is, I reported that its snowing, and my report shows as snowing/sun with cloud. Perhaps Im doing something wrong, but its either buggy or not intuitive. You decide.

This app used to be good. But it no longer works. The Weather is always wrong. This app has one job to do, but failed.

Reporting wildly inaccurate volumes of snow and precipitation compared to other apps, the news and the view from my window :).

The app itself is decent, and thats why I paid for the no-as upgrade. My beef with this app is that it consistently has trouble connecting server. It usually takes a dozen of refreshing to reload the weather info. I hope its sever is not powered by a hamster spinning wheels, because otherwise this kind of performance is unacceptable in 2016.

As long as Ive been using this app, which is at least three years, Ive never had any real issues with any of the previous versions. Its never crashed on me, or otherwise giving me grief, especially when its needed. Nothing else out there quite matches it for its bevy of customizable features, visual style, or meteorological resources. Including a few unexpected extras. My Specs: iPhone SE, 64GB, iOS 10.2

I installed it and reinstalled it on my iPad Air 2. But still unable to get it working properly. Couldnt change temperature to C and unable to edit the windows.

Absolutely the best weather app Ive seen. Has all kinds of info, data and maps. A must for anyone who wants to be one with the weather.

This was a great app until this last update. Now reporting just nonsensical temperatures on the Running Smart Forecast (which use to be an awesome feature) reducing the forecast to just plain Dumb! Plus weird snow dumps. Please fix!

iPhone 6s on Rogers network. Would not allow my home station to be loaded (Aldergrove, BC Canada). Tried to add my sisters city to the list (Calgary, AB Canada) and got a spinning wheel that never resolved. Glitchy from the get-go.

I think in the last weeks this app has become buggy and unresponsive. The weather wont load at all. When it does load, it feels quite slow and clunky. Theres a lot of ads inside the app, and if it wasnt a yearly subscription, Id have paid to get rid of them and support these guys. The best part of this app is the guy who writes the updates - hilarious.

Decently reliable

Widget doesnt work properly. Wont display weather for searched locations just keeps thinking. Was my go to app and will be again if these critical issues are resolved.

Most of the time weather is accurate

Latest update is disappointing - temperatures show but conditions (rain, sunshine, etc.) not showing on iPhone 6s or iPad Pro for present location. They do show for other places. Cant give more than 2 stars with app performing like it is at present.
